Develop Creative Mind in Babyhood!

For a child’s life to be easier in his future, for him to easily solve different tasks, to find friends easily, to be interesting for other people, and so on, it is important to develop creative mind in babyhood. Let’s consider why.

How often we have heard these words from significant people to us, and how we were totally confused for a long time, were deprived of the ability to move on, were deprived of creativity. And what is creativity? It is a process of free self-expression; it is the growth of a personality. "Do not talk nonsense!" From whose point of view is it nonsense? The threat of external judgment and critical censure creates fear in people that they can make mistakes and, as a solution of the problem, these people do not do anything, they do not develop. And they live their lives being gray mediocrity.

Look, the surrounding reality is changing like an exchange rate, right before our eyes. The world we live in nowadays requires us to make spontaneous decisions, create ideas - new, original, and often not understood by others, but the only true and sometimes life-saving ones for us. The courage to overcome the thought patterns and limitations is rewarded with the feeling of satisfaction. You acquire wisdom. And when following the stereotypes, you adjust yourself to the ordinary majority. You'll be like everyone else, nothing will happen to you and your life will never begin.

Nowadays, many psychologists and educators are more often talking about the necessity to develop creative mind in children. It is recommended to pay attention to such abilities as fluency - the ability to quickly create a flow of ideas, flexibility - the ability to consider a problem from different points of view, originality - the ability to come up with unique and unusual things, and finally, the ability to develop and embellish any ideas or images. When paying attention to creative problem solving, we thus develop intelligence and expand the range of intellectual abilities in children in general. Scientists have proved that highly creative people have above-average intelligence. In addition, creative activities harmonize the emotional life of a child, correct his behavior thus helping to socialize in the community. Whatever it can be - a word, an image, an idea – creativity can illuminate the child’ world like a flash.

In creative activities there are no "wrong" answers. "Right or wrong". Is it possible to judge like this when someone is drawing pictures on "What makes me happy? " topic, all his answers are of course correct. The most effective way to develop a child is to minimize the external and formal judgment, which is too much in the educational process, and help a child to evaluate himself. This is the only way for him to learn to find flaws in his work, to correct it, to be an independent and developed personality. After all, you want to see your child this way, don’t you?

Of course, the development of creative mind cannot be from time to time. As in any business, the regularity matters here. The nature of creativity requires children to be free in expression of their thoughts and ideas in a warm friendly atmosphere. And this is possible only for passionate people with their ideas, laughter, fun, spontaneous and impulsive behavior. Creative activities are helpful and pleasant, and certainly will bring joy to your home.

So, why is it necessary to develop creative mind form the very babyhood? Children get accustomed to think in a creative way from the early years and it will be much easier for them to live later in life, and a baby is like a sponge – he absorbs knowledge and develops his skills without any exception.
